Our Mission at the Counter Culture Teen

Today's Christian teenagers and young people struggle with going against the low expectations culture has for them, succumbing to the temptations and distractions of today, and falling prey to the snares laid for young people like us.

Our mission and purpose is to shed light on these topics and concerns, inspire teenagers and young people to dream big and reach further, and most of all, trust and believe in the one true God and cultivate a strong faith and relationship with Him.

With each episode, we strive to bring fresh prespectives to the table, interview other Counter Culture teens and young adults, and glorify God and further His kingdom.

Here's a testimonial from the show's co-host, co-founder and director, Victoria Julieann;

I may be a teenager, but I don’t think like one. I chase results, I strive to be better. I don’t chase trends or push my way into the ‘in’ crowd. I aim for excellence in everything I do and to improve myself in head, heart and hands with each challenge my God helps me overcome. I am not just a dreamer. Christ has made me a doer and an achiever with the dreams He has stewarded to me.
My energy is not immaturity; it’s a burning passion.
My vision is not ambitious; it’s a divinely inspired mission.
My drive is not arrogance; it’s direction – it's purpose.
My silence is not indifference; it’s set focus.
My faith is not just something I keep to myself; I have been burdened with being a burning light to ignite those around me on fire for the Lord.
The goal is not to prove I am a leader; the goal is to become so capable and knowledgeable that leadership is the only option.
I am not perfect. But that is not the goal. The goal is to become the best version of myself that I know He has made me to be, and to help others do just the same.
I believe anyone, and especially teenagers, can do anything if it is according to the divine calling they receive and if they put their hearts and minds to it.”
